SINZING: After almost 18 years, Akisa is discontinuing the sale and support of ArtClay products.
What happened? – AIDA Chemicals Ltd., the manufacturer of ArtClay, is unable to supply us directly with ArtClay products. We have been put off for more than two months and have not received any goods. Unfortunately, we must now draw a line under this, as you, as a customer, need security for your work. We believe you need a reliable supplier.
Is there a replacement? – Yes, we have Prometheus 999 Silver Clay, a similarly good silver clay, in our range. We are happy to advise you on how to convert your projects and courses to Prometheus 999. Please also try the other Prometheus clays.
What happens to my ArtClay certificates? – Certificates already issued remain valid. Certificates issued in Germany after July 10, 2025, will no longer be recognized. Akisa also no longer permits the issuance of certificates.
What’s happening with Artclayworld, Metalclay-Fans, and the Akisaforum? – The Artclayworld Germany page has been shut down as of today. In the Metalclay-Fans Facebook group, we ask for your understanding if we don’t like posts about ArtClay and may comment on or delete them. The Akisaforum will continue as before – please refrain from posting anything about ArtClay here.
Is there a sale in the shop? – No, there isn’t a sale in the Akisashop. Whatever is left will be sold normally – but! If it’s gone, it’s gone!
Would Akisa sell ArtClay again? – Yes, if AIDA supplies us directly and reliably, we would start selling ArtClay again. Artclayworld Germany can go back online in minutes, and the items will remain in the shop, even if they aren’t visible.
